KinTech handles all aspects of the die casting process from mold design and testing, to component manufacturing, finishing, and packaging. With decades of experience in die casting, Source is a leader in technology and skilled professionals to manufacture high quality die castings in the most cost-effective manner with on-time delivery and quality that will exceed your requirements.
Advice on designing die castings is usually based upon desirable practices or situations to avoid and may affect the cost, appearance, and quality of the final part. Dies can be produced for simple and complex parts. Source factories use the latest technologies to ensure superior quality and low unit costs. Our state-of-the-art plant makes use of robotics and other automated processes that provide guaranteed consistency in the finished product.
Die Casting Process
Die casting is a manufacturing method widely used to produce aluminum and other alloy components by pressing the molten metal into reusable steel molds at high pressures. The molds—also known as tools or dies—are created using steel and are specially designed for each project. This allows each component to be created with accuracy and repeatability. Aluminum, zinc, and magnesium are the most commonly used die casting alloys. This process results in the production of parts and components with complex geometries, with high precision, and allows the possibility of large-scale production.
Most die castings are made from non-ferrous metals, specifically zinc, copper, aluminium, magnesium, lead, pewter, and tin-based alloys. Components manufactured with die casting technologies can achieve sharp geometries, smooth or textured surfaces, making them suitable for a wide range of products and applications.
Die casting is suitable for complex geometries with thin walls, as low as 1 mm and with smooth surface finishes, allowing coating or plating as finishing treatments. |

Die Casting Capabilities
From Small Batch To Volume Production
As A Professional Precise tool manufacturer, We provide professional die-casting die design, Pressure die casting is used to make copies of cast parts in aluminum, zinc or magnesium. We offers everything from a single source: Custom Die Molds and Machining die casting parts including all finishing steps. Molds are made in-house from H-13 steel using CNC machining and EDM/wire EDM. With every new project, we look for ways to provide you with the best return on investment.
Die casting is an efficient, economical process offering a broader range of shapes and components than any other manufacturing technique. Parts have long service life and may be designed to complement the visual appeal of the surrounding part. Designers can gain a number of advantages and benefits by specifying die cast parts including high-speed production, close tolerances, dimensional accuracy and stability, strength, multiple finishing techniques and, simplified assembly procedures.
Die Casting Materials
Zinc, aluminum, and magnesium are the three main die casting alloys. They are normally non-ferrous and their mechanical properties vary greatly to fit almost every type of application a manufacturer may need.Different metals are available for casting. Your choice of materials may depend on cost, weight and performance. Here are some tips:

There are many benefits to casting with magnesium. Not only is magnesium the lightest of all the structured materials but it has excellent stiffness and strength-to-weight ratios. Additionally, it has outstanding EMI and RFI shielding properties, perfect for connectors and electrical housings. It is also utilized for medical and laboratory equipment to provide protection against other interfering signals in a hospital room.
Die Casting Tolerances
We follow the standard general NADCA tolerances. However, if your requirements are very precise, then the precision tolerances standard can be followed once we have confirmed your designs.
