Sand Casting

Sand casting is a metal processing method widely used in casting processes, and almost all metals can be used for sand casting. Its main feature is the consumption of sand molds to form complex metal parts. The mold is produced by refractory material to produce the desired cavity so that molten metal can be poured into the cavity. Sand casting can produce extremely complex castings with a wide range of sizes and is the preferred low-volume economic production method for many automotive parts and aerospace industries. Cylinder heads, engine blocks, bearings, gears, clamps, mechanical hardware, etc. can be manufactured by sand casting process.
