Brass Machining

Brass is a metal alloy made of copper and zinc; the proportions of zinc and copper can be varied to create a range of brasses with varying properties. Brass has higher malleability than bronze or zinc. Brass is one of the most-used materials in the world. Brass is generally known for several things - decent strength and electrical conductivity, it can be polished easily, and there seems to be a brass for just about every application.360 brass, produced from a combination of copper and zinc, has the highest machinability of all copper alloys, and is the standard against which all the others are compared to. Free Machining brass is the most commonly used of the brass rod and bar items.

Applications of Brass Parts

Brass parts and components are durable, cost-efficient, and even create a tighter seal for fittings and have a high heat and corrosion resistancmethodology and application. Brass machining is used in a wide variety of industries, including medical, electrical, plumbing, and even consumer goods. Companies prefer small brass turned parts and components because it's one of the easiest materials to machine. Brass fittings are often used in electronic hardware because of its low stregnth and weight properties and in precision engineering for manufacturing cylinder parts.

CNC Machining Capabilities

At Kintec, Our CNC machining, turning, and milling processes include all types of turning, boring, broaching, and more. With our 3, 4 and 5-axis machinery, we can custom manufacture parts of the highest quality to meet your demands. From prototyping to full production runs. Benefit from our global network of certified CNC manufacturing facilities and get your parts into production in less than 5 minutes.

CNC Milling Service

CNC milling is used to apply a machined surface finish on plastic or metal or for creating complex 3D shapes. There are two main types of milling operations: face milling and peripheral milling. Face milling cuts flat surfaces into the work piece and flat-bottomed cavities. The feed can be either horizontal or vertical. Peripheral milling cuts deep slots, threads, and gear teeth. When it comes to complex cnc machining parts , it depends mixed cnc processing technology but not a single machining process .

CNC Turning Service

Our CNC lathes enable high speed and quality turning of both plastics and metals. The turning process allows for complex external geometries and internal bores to be generated. Our turning capacity is available for prototypes through  low-volume to High-volume production. our CNC turning centers produce precision turned parts with tight tolerances down to +/- .0001” (+/-2.5 µm) but can produce parts with larger diameters. CNC Swiss machining but are better suited to small and medium volume runs.

Machining Materials

Kintec is able to machine components in a wide range of materials. These include metals as well as plastics. It is suitable for both prototyping as well as large-batch manufacturing.

Metal : Aluminum,Kovar, Brass, Bronze, Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Alloy Steel, Hi-Temp Alloys, and More.

Plastic :Acrylic, Noryl (PPO and PS), ABS, PC, PET, PE, PPS, PP, PS, PU, PBT, PEI, Peek , PTE, PVC  etc
